At UCEF, we invite individuals passionate about biomedical/clinical engineering in the aspect of medical device maintenance and management to contribute their skills and expertise. Objectives:
- Voluntary Service: Repair medical equipment around the world.
- Support/Maintenance: Manage medical devices during emergencies.
- Resource Optimization: Efficiently address urgent needs.
- Prioritization: Identify and prioritize essential life-saving repairs.
- Hands-On Assistance: Provide support to healthcare facilities facing equipment management challenges.
- Remote Support: Offer technical assistance via video conferences and phone calls.
Eligibility:
- Engineering Graduates: Any nationality with a degree in Biomedical/Clinical Engineering or equivalent and a desirable of 3 years of experience in medical equipment maintenance/repair/troubleshooting.
- Diploma Graduates: Any nationality with a diploma in Biomedical/Clinical Engineering or equivalent and a desirable of 5 years of experience in medical equipment maintenance/repair/troubleshooting.
Support from Society:
The society will cover all expenses for volunteers involved in medical device maintenance and service.
